Indian economy is currently undergoing recessionary phase and hence, investment banking industry is also suffering. In this background, it would be a risky proposition to enter in this industry at the moment.
According to me, MBA is recommended over investment banking courses as you'll have a better chance to choose from wide career options when you get qualified.

The doctor sees all the weakness of mankind; the lawyer all the wickedness.
Being a lawyer is good when u got the vision to penetrate more further than anyone else.India is short of lawyers practicing in medico-legal issues and consumer court disputes. You can better opt for L.L.M after L.L.B and concentrate in the above issues.
Best of Luck for all times
