Both the universities are recognised by UGC. ICFAI is more focussed on Financial Programs and SMU run various courses. Sikkim Manipal University is recognised with various authorities. Please check the recognition with UGC/AICTE/DEC for both the univresities.
You can visit both the universities then decide, as per present scenarios SMU is the best.

There are many universities in USA that offer a program in Environmental health and safety. Please throw some light on your qualifications and the level of the course that you wish to pursue(bachelors or masters) as well as if you are interested in USA or not so that i can suggest you universities accordingly. Remember, US is a much better destination for this course than Canada.
