For the bank PO exams the eligibility criteria is graduation from recognized university and your age should be between 21-30 years. You can appear only thrice for a bank PO exam. Notification appears in all leading national newspapers and employment news.
The examination is conducted in two stages. The first stage is a written examination having objective test and the second is descriptive test. The candidates who have been successful in written examination are called for an interview.
To prepare for the Bank Probationary Officers entrance exam, there are a number of books and correspondence courses available. The objective type portion will have papers in reasoning, quantitive aptitude, general awareness and English. The descriptive type paper will have comprehension, analysis of situation and language ability. For general awareness, if you read read the daily newspaper and watch news, that should do. You could also use magazines such as CSR, Competition Master, Banking service Chronicle, etc.

Pursuing MBA is a good option as it further enhances the career prospects, IP university is a good university to pursue studies, the university has good teaching faculty, placements records and infrastructure.
As per your profile I would suggest you to work for 1-2 years after completing your graduation and then opt for MBA, the advantage of this step would be, you will gain relevant work experience, and you will learn how to implement theoretical knowledge in practical situations, after working you will know which field (marketing, finance, HR) to opt for while pursuing MBA which will further enhance your career prospects.

Thanks Aneeket for inviting me to answer this question. as per the regulation framed by UGC part time Ph.D. And M.Phil is not allowed in the distance or part time basis. In fact candidate never comes for the contribution as per the research is concern. They are coming for the promotion or appraisal in the job. this is the main reason behind banning the distance and part time system in the highest degree of education system. In Ph.D. there is no need to leave the job. They are required to work with their guide in regular basis. In the present scenario guides are also not willing to guide the student because the attitude of the candidate. sheejavinod if you are really serious for Ph.D. than contact your guide. In which manner you post your quarry shows that you never contact any guide for doing Ph.D.Or M.Phil. every university which is recognized by UGC conducting the Ph.D. programme.
