During counselling based on your rank if you get VIT, Vellore, they shall allow you to take it! In the form, they just ask for their analysis! If your rank is good you'll get Vellore. They value merit a lot!

There is no difference between MBA and PGDM. Syllabus of both the degrees is similar. In India, only universities can award degrees. Therefore, B Schools, which are not affiliated to any university award PGDM. AIU publishes list of PGDM which are treated equivalent to MBA for higher studies. Both degrees are equally accepted in job market.

Hi Vaishali, First, you should decide what to study right. Since you have an MBA already, choosing certain courses and applying to them will be difficult. Many universities won't prefer and will evaluate your application very strictly. So, you first decide and figure out why you want to study and what you want to study. If you pursue MBA, you can apply for jobs related to MBA specialisation. For example, if you are taking finance and HR as specialisation in MBA then you can apply for HR or if you take banking then you can apply for banking sector jobs.

The CAP rounds start in July. Prior to Cap, there will be document verification, etc. Which will be notified in April/May. All the notifications will be available on DTE Maharashtra's website. There is no GDPI.
