Hi Chandan,
As far as I know Social Studies is not one subject but the mixture of subjects so if your Institute is giving Social Studies as one option then you can go ahead as you are from arts background and you must be having social studies in your high school.
Hope this will be of help. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.

Hi Deepali, what advice would you like on it? If it is about application then here it is.
There are 2 intakes in a year Sep/Oct and MArch/April. The application and admission process takes about 9 months so you need to plan accordingly. The deadline for Sep/Oct intake is in Jan and for March /April intake is in July. Hence, you will need to make an early application.
In my personal opinion before you join for another masters find out why do you want to do MTEch when you already have a MAsters degree in almost the same subject?

HI Devang, you can go for MSC IT or computer science. There are some courses called the conversion courses which are offered by Universities to students who do not have a similar background. If you are keen on making a career in IT industry then you can go ahead with a course. Else you should rethink and opt for a subject that interests and the one in which you would like to make your career in. IT has opportunities in Nz.
If I may suggest, in case you decide against IT there is accounting that is doing really good in Nz and has good scope as well. So can give it a shot here also.
