You can easily get into NSIT, though you may not get computer engineering as your branch. Also the branch you get will depend upon whether you are a delhiite and if you have a category.

Hi Nishant, certifications and courses like Project Management, Six Sigma, SAP etc will help. You need to first decide about your career, which field do you wan to work in and where do you want to work rather than obtaining hundreds of degrees. If you are clear about your future plans you may then select what additional courses or certifications will help you. You can go abroad to work , I will suggest you gain a few years work experience in India before you apply for a job outside as it is very competitive.

Hello Akshay,
With this score you won't get any of the govt or good private institute. Better attempt for other entrances like UPESEAT, SET, GEEE etc. Deadlines to fill forms for these are near so you need to apply at the earliest.

Hello, Your score seemed to be on a lower side and frankly speaking getting into a Govt College is nearly impossible. However, the world doesn't end there. Many Private/ deemed Universities and Colleges offer equal if not better opportunities. Getting a degree from a good Institution is no achievement but getting into a good Institution with reasonable expenditures definitely is.

You can get a job solely based on B.Tech, if your scores and Knowledge are good enough. But if you fail to get a job or if you're interested in pursuing higher education after B.Tech, you can go for it absolutely. You can go for Masters degrees like MBA, M.Tech or MS. Choose one of them according to your personal interest. You can opt for higher studies in top colleges of India by scoring high in exams like GATE CAT etc. You can also pursue them abroad by giving different exams like GMAT GRE etc.

Hello dear, As an SNU alumni, I can only comment about SNU. SNU has international collaboration with top universities such as Carnegie Melon, Duke and Babson College. I believe there exists an undergrad programme in Mechanical and Computer Science engineering, where you spend two years in SNU and two years in CMU, eventually getting a degree from both universities. Also, every year two to three students get selected and participate in an exchange programme with Duke and spend a semester in Duke, China. Placements are like any other established pvt. University. Top IT firms and core companies recruit from SNU. I am not sure if you're of
