Hi,
This year the cut-off is not available. But past data shows that cutoff was around 70 to 77 marks for OBC candidates to be called for counselling. Assam Engineering college is sought out and in 2016 it seems OBC category cutoff was 140 plus. Again this will depend upon the branch. The exam is moderate and can be cracked if you study a bit well.
All the best.

Hi there,
Admission in IIMs has nothing to do with your work experience as it is not needed at all.
What is needed at best is your CAT score then your communications skills in GD and PI. So, sit back and relax. You need to focus on subjects for entrance to score a good percentile and then prepare well for GD and PI.

B.A. (Hons), and B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics are nearly all same. The course curriculum varies in each. Also, affiliated University plays a major role in deciding the Degree. Above all B.A. Is the simple graduation in which you've to study Arts/Social Sc Subjects for 3 whole years. B.A. (HonS) is mastering the Honours subject in final year. B.Sc. (hons) is also the same thing albeit in B.Sc. You'll have more of mathematics and calculative part as compared to the counterparts. I'll give my own example. I and my other two friends are pursuing graduation in Economics. I'm from BHU, one is from Delhi University and the other one is from Calc

No. The order goes like this:
IIT
IIIT
NIT
GFTIs
So, IIIT is better than NIT. But, I suggest you to not choose according to this because it may differ from few respects. So, choose when you are satisfied. Also, if you are getting NIT, then enroll for it whether it is very far away from your home or it is a new NIT.
Best of luck.
