Hi Rupali, The Department of Journalism is arguably the best department in DCAC. In one word, the faculty is brilliant. The atmosphere is conducive for debates and discussions. The HOD ensures that the classes get over early (11.30) so that students can pursue their other interests. So from the first year itself, you can intern with media organisations. Several guest speakers from prominent media houses are frequently invited for lectures and you get to learn the tricks of the trade very early. The students after graduating either go for higher studies or work with diverse media such as radio, broadcast, film, print etc. So, this course is very promising. All the best.

A postgraduate psychology course called M.A. Psychology examines both human psychology and behaviour. It is focused on a deep and detailed investigation of psychology as a field. The M.A. Psychology programme lasts two years and is divided into four semesters. This course requires a graduating degree from a recognised university in any track with a minimum GPA of 50% to be eligible. There are, however, some reputable institutions that accept applicants with honours degrees in psychology or who have psychology as a graduating topic. For two years, the average tuition for an M.A. In Psychology at government-funded institutions is between INR 2,000 and INR 20,000. The tuition charge for private institutions may reach INR 2 LPA.
