Airlines often set the following requirements for applicants:
Minimum 17 to 25 years of age. High school diploma or equivalency.Secondary education is preferred.Minimum arm reach of 212 cms (on tip toes), which will enable you to reach emergency equipment on all aircraft types. .
The requirements to become an air hostess also include having a good personality, presence of mind and interpersonal skills.Ability to read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language & knowing some foreign languages, decent and polite behavior,have a clear speaking voice etc.
If you complete a diploma in aviation, you will learn all the functions of an air hostess along with the ground duty rules and regulations.It's also important to have a normal colour vision and good eyesight and meet the height and weight standards set by various airlines.
Air hostess need to be mentally and physically fit to deal with the long working hours and emergencies. Thus, hard work and patience are the very important air hostess career need.Readiness to work at odd hours of the day and on weekends and holidays is a must for aspiring air hostesses.

WLC Admission Test (WAT)
The test comprises of three sections:
Quantitative Ability
English Comprehension
Communication and Analytical Ability
WLC Professional Test (WPT)
This test will be administered separately for Creative and Business Students.
Business School Test: This test is aimed at evaluating the candidate's knowledge and awareness about the national and international business environment.
Creative School Test: This test is administrated to assess specific skills of candidates. These include power of observation, innovation, designing and drawing abilities.
Interview
The tests will then be followed by a personal interview. Each candidate will be evaluated for skills and abilities required in his / her chosen field.
How To Apply
Application forms are available on payment of Rs 500/- in favour of WLC College (I) Ltd at any of the WLCI offices in India. You can also download the form from website: www.wlccollege.org and post / courier your completed form with the application fee to any of offices / campuses in India. For forms through post, courier/mail the application fee to: 'The Coordinator, WLC Admission Test' at any of the WLCI offices
