The process varies from IIM to IIM. In general, you have to give CAT exam for all IIMs, which is followed by a shortlisting for GD-PI by all IIMs separately, based on your CAT score and profile.
Final admission is based on your CAT score, profile and performance in GD-PI.

No, LPU students do not automatically lose their jobs after the 6-month probation period. Probation is a standard process followed by almost all companies, regardless of the college. During this time, employers evaluate your performance, skills, and work attitude.
If you perform well, you are confirmed as a permanent employee. In some cases, if performance is not up to expectations, the company may extend probation or release the employee. This is purely based on individual performance, not the university.
Many LPU students continue successfully in companies after probation. So, job security depends on your skills, adaptability, and cons
