Shabad, don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. The admission through TNEA 2017 is purely based on your 12th exam marks. There is no separate examination for admission. You are advised to apply for counseling at www.annauniv.edu for admission into Anna University and its affiliated colleges.

Hello Vijay,
For admission into IITs, your JEE Advanced marks and ranks are only considered. So, you cannot get IITs with JEE main marks. With JEE main scores you can get only NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

I feel yes. With your marks, I think you have good chances of getting admission in course and college of your choice. But check with DU website for last year's cutoffs before applying.

Hi Saurabh,
BIMTECH only provides PGDM which is equivalent to MBA. However for that you need a valid CAT or XAT score. MAT scores are only valid for PGDM - Retail or PGDM - IBM.
