There are no guarantees.
However, choosing Hons. would mean that you will study the subject in great depth, and that might expand your options for your career.
Both English and Psychology have a great scope. You can choose either of the Hons., or you can choose B.A. Gen where you'll be studying both, but not in that much depth as in an Hons. course. If your interest lies in both then you should study B.A. Gen, or if your interest gravitates more towards one of the subjects then Hons. would be a better option.

What exactly do you mean to ask? If you're from arts, you can go for B.A. Or LL.B. or design or corporate law. If you're from science, you can go for medical, engineering or Bachelors. And if you're from commerce, you can take up B.Com BMS, BAF and BFM.

A rank of about 2000 in JEE Advanced would fetch you a seat. But this year, being a girl student, additional seats have been authorised and hence for girl students, the cutoff could be further lowered.

I would suggest you to try some other colleges for instance
1) Goenka College.
2) St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
3) Sri Shikshayatan College.
4) Shivnath Shastri College.
5) Heritage College etc.
