BIIF seems to be a nice option from where you can opt for Finance courses but then as for the certification is concerned, there aren't many options except P.N Vijay's Certificate Course in Capital Market.
The course is a good option if one is looking ahead to start a career in the field of capital market and plan to head in the similar direction.

Although, if you are talking about the distance MBA programme of SMU, frankly speaking Distance programme is not very high value especially if a person is a fresher. Distance & part time programmes are generally for those working professionals who have good amount of work experience say around 5 or more, so in case you are well experienced you can opt for SMU MBA otherwise advisable would be that you should go for a full time MBA through a decent B-School.

If you are talking about full time MBA, Mumbai University definitely is a better option than SMU.

However, coming back to your question although the University of Delhi is one of the best known Universities in the country but then the mode of education does affects the career prospects a little.
Regular education is the most preferred mode of education as this offers quality of education, preference in terms of the job vacancies when compared to the correspondence education.
