Moshin, doing B.Tech with Arts stream is not possible but what you can do is you can take admission on basis of class 10 in Diploma.
In fact universities like LPU, MMU, MVN,etc are offering Integrated Diploma-B.Tech course that will enable you to do B.Tech.
All these private universities are hub of quality education with good placements. Some of them even offer good scholarships.
Check their websites for more details
Good Luck.

Well, starting salary can be 3LPA in any average engineering college in IT companies and can go upto 6-7 LPA. For core companies it is bit higher, approx. 4-5 LPA min. for start.
In good colleges you will get much higher pay.

B.Tech Part time can be the best option for you if your department allows you. Otherwise, go for Bachelors degree courses of IGNOU like BA, BCA and B.Sc. These courses will upgrade your qualification.

Hi Rajat,
I would suggest you to go for B.Com (hons.)
MBA after B.Com (hons.) would add good to your career, rather than general B.Com course.

See, I cannot guarantee any private college about placements. Many of my friends are studying in PIET. They are quite happy in CSE or IT. But, still it is more preferable to go for state universities instead of private colleges. These private colleges will assure, we are best nothing can be best. But, it is not so. I hope you have good rank in IPU, prefer IT rather than PIET.
Overall, I know PIET is a good college with nice staff. You can pursue in CSE or IT branch, as these are evergreen branches. But, do not have blind faith in college. Pull out your efforts also by learning new and new things.

You should try for admission there. It definitely is going to be a good choice.
