I think you should opt for PES-CS. The placement for both the college is more or less the same. As far as my knowledge goes, EC is a lot more difficult subject to study than CS. Also, CS has a better opportunities in the future. If the fee for PES is not a problem then you should opt for PES.

No, but don't know why JIS College's rank is so high in local newspaper ratings, may be it is paid promotion but from study point of view there are many other colleges which are better than JIS.

You should be with an option, be it Diploma, further PG degree in your expertise or other sectors, or you could join any hospital / could have your own private chamber, or you could apply for UPSC exams, to be in top posts.
