Your rank is good enough. You do have a chance in chemical engineering in most of the colleges. Wait around for counselling to know more. The first counselling process is set to begin from 9th to the 14th of July at Assam Engineering Institute, Chandmari. Other details are given in the ASTU website and the official website for the director of technical education of Assam.

College timing for the 1st year is from (9 AM or 10 AM) to (4 PM or 6 PM) depending on which lecture is going to be conducted. Regarding Bus facility, as of now it's not available. But the Traveling from Vidyavihar Railway station to college is very much convenient as sharing Rickshaw are easily available directly till the college gate.

There are several courses which you can do along with your B.Com but before you decide upon any course you should know what are your interests and career aspirations. The choices can be in the field of accounts (like CA, ICWA or CS), or you can opt for short term IT Courses, (Like SAP, 3D Animation computer programming etc.)

Its' really hard as you haven't taken IT nor maths as your subject. So the only way to become a software developer is to study on your own and search institutes who'll help you out in this. Trust me, if you choose to do this it's going to be really hard for you. So, in my opinion you should look out for any profession.

The answer to this question depends upon your interest. If you wish to pursue a management career then MBA would be the best thing but if you wish to take out your creative side and do something innovative, the go for mass communication.
