Hi there, You can't get any college with 28 marks in CLAT except you take admission under NRI or NRI sponsored quota wherein you might get a place in many colleges. Also, if you belong to general category then don't expect any college at all with 28 marks.

It depends on where you are doing B.Tech from. If you are doing from IITs or NITs then both the branches are good. But if opt for an average private college then ECE is the best branch. Companies don't recruit mechanical engineers from an average college.

This is not a correct way to go about this process. Aim to get as much as you can in Graduation, it will not only help with a greater application score, but will be a boon for you when you are sitting for placements.

See, every field/stream comes with its boon and bane. Nobody except you is aware of your potential. You must have thought at least once what do you want in life. If not, it's not too late, take time. Sit peacefully, relax and think about yourself. Opt for those subjects in which you have an interest or you believe you'll perform extremely well. Humanities offers maximum opportunities, provided the choice of subjects is good enough. Science has long-term benefits but it requires extreme hard work and patience.
So go with what your heart and mind say. Good luck!
