The eligibility criteria of distance MBA from Prof. G Ram Reddy center for distance education Osmania university, Hyderabad is the three year Bachelor degree of Osmania university or any other university recognized by Osmania university with 50% marks for general and 45% for reserved categories. Because you have completed your 6 months B.Sc-AME course from Singhania University instead of 3 years as required in case of Osmania University, seems the prime reason of non-acceptance of your degree. Further, as per Osmania university distance education website, university offers MBA distance programme for university and its affiliated colleges only.

It provides admission in three ways
1- KCET
2- COMEDK
3- Management Quota- The admission under management quota is processed in the office of the BMS Educational Trust. The Council of Trustees decide the tuition fee for various courses under management quota and seats are allotted by the Chief of the Admission Committee. The BMS Educational Trust advertises regarding the admission and the application forms are issued to the aspirants in the month of June / July of every year.
The governments share of seats in the CET has been gradually decreasing over the years. It was 85:15 in 1994-95 but is now reduced to 40:60 (medical). Private college managements are expected to petition the education secretariat on not giving up any medical/dental seat to the government for next years UG admissions.
The govt in 2007 had increased the salaries of teaching staff in government medical and dental colleges. Now, the private colleges too must hike the salaries to retain staff. Each college will have to bear an additional burden of Rs 3 crore.
The government got an extra 5% seats in Engineering colleges in 2009, in turn 25% these seats will be reserved for the poor and meritorious students. Needless to say the government will have its own criteria of determining who is poor.
