Hi,
Please note that to be eligible for becoming income tax officer one should have a bachelor degree from any stream.
The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date.
To become an income tax officer the aspiring candidates have to follow the given steps:
1. As a first step the candidate have to procure the application form along with required information for the employment newspaper generally published in the month of April or from the official website of SSC.
2. In the month of May or June the aspirant have to take preliminary exam.
