Take the GRE and target at least a 310. Admissions in US are based on overall profile which means they will also take your extracurricular activities in account, in addition to your academics. Since your academics are low during BE having a very high GRE score can only do you some good. In addition reference letters, statement of Interest will also be very crucial in the admission process.

IILM doesn't give much importance on MAT score rather it focuses more on how you perform on the personal interview and your past academic records. So no need to worry if your MAT score is low. Just try to perform well in the PI.
Good luck!

Rather than focusing on your weaknesses, work on improving your strengths. To solve JEE problems you need deep understanding of topics. You don't have enough time to improve upon your weaknesses. Rather, focus on strengthening your strong points and study them deeply. Select two subjects out of PCM and focus dedicatedly on those two subjects only. Leave the third one, study little for the third. As far as I know, there are no section wise cutoffs in JEE. Also, take some practice tests and find out where you are mostly going wrong or not.
