If your CAT percentile is 22 then you have to reappear in the test next year. I suggest you to prepare well this time as most of the top B schools look for 95 or above percentile in CAT.
Also you can appear in other Management Aptitute tests like MAT,XAT to create a back up opion for you.
Hope this helps. All the best.

To put it in a simple language, a Chartered Accountant is responsible for all accounting and finance functions, whereas a Cost Accountant works with an objective to reduce cost, which is part of the production process. You have to narrow down on the area, in which you want to make your career. Let me also add that if you qualify as a Chartered Accountant, you get exemption in some papers for ICWA and vice versa. The critical part here is to do an honest introspection of yourself and see where you fit

Dear Ankit,
It depends totally own your calibre which path you want to choose towards doing CA. Most of the students start preparing for CA simultaneously with their graduation. But please be informed that both B.com and CA preparation are intensive programs to do and require lot of time and hard work.
If you can manage both well, you can go ahead for it.
Hope this helps. All the best
