Current placement scenario is very good. Students with B.Tech degree have some edge towards placement. With your score card and your academic performance, you can get admission in ABBS and I would like to suggest you to take marketing and operations specialization for MBA.

First and foremost, you must know why you want to change to IT and also have a good statement of purpose prepared through which you can show your interest in this area. You must check the university websites for admission requirements, for further studies in IT you must have the relevant education background. Dear Joy,
Pursuing PGDM isn't a good move as fee is quite high also placements aren't so good, companies visiting to campus might not be those which one expect.
So, instead of Alliance University, I would suggest you to go for some other colleges which are either offering MBA or PGDM with equivalence to MBA.
Such as:
Christ University
XIME
Manipal
All the very best.
