According to previous year closing rank and your rank you have got:
1.Civil Engineering
2.Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
As both the closing ranks are low, if you like a branch, then wait for counselling but if not, then go through other colleges.

DAIICT is no doubt the best of the two, the reason being that it offers ICT course ( a cumulative course of CS + IT + EC). Moreover, there is a lot of scope for further studies & better job and research opportunities in ICT field as compared to normal CS course offered in VIT. Besides the "coding culture" in DAIICT is the best after IIT's and BITS. One of the websites for competitive coding had conducted a study to find out the best colleges in the world in the field of competitive coding and DAIICT was ranked 30th position and the list did not contain VIT at all.
