There are different perspectives of calling a branch as the best branch. If you are talking about the placements, then I would say Computer Science, Information science which has the best placements among all the branches. Students have earned at package upto 64 Lacs P.A. ECE has also a decent placement statistics. However, if you are looking towards the quality education then I would say ECE and Mechanical Engineering. RVCE has got 'Centre of Excellence' in Nanotechnology by the government of India which is a part of Mechanical Engineering. The minimum qualifying marks in 12th to get admission in NIT are 75%. You can appear for JEE Mains but can not get admission in any of the NIT's or IIT's.

Scholarship has been provided to meritorious students in the form of education loan. They have been given loan of INR 2 lakhs for the two years course which needs to be paid back but the interest on the loan will be waived off i.e. one needs to pay back the INR two lakhs only and no interest after the completion of the course.
