Hello Nagu,
This dilemma is faced by every student. Don't worry. Practically speaking, branch helps you only in a limited way. In fact if you opt for MBA then it's only a degree. Hard work and luck play vital role.
So, accept any branch that you get and make a success of it.

I am also a class 12th student seeking for admission and I also got 81%. I think our destination is same.
I think we should wait for the DU cut-off, maybe in some courses like life sciences, we will get admission. Otherwise, we can find out some good private universities.

Dear Bhargav,
Examination format is entirely different in Canada and most foreign countries. While an examination which may be either objective or descriptive is an important factor its noteworthy to mention that it's not the only important factor. Programs are mostly experiential learning comprising projects, research work, thesis, coursework or assignments, graduate seminars, etc. No mugging up nor plagiarism is allowed. Research is an important factor and also the submission of coursework within the specific deadline is mandatory. For details regarding credit points, I will advise you to check the degree requirements on university w

As you have chosen non.medical in your +2 class, I suggest you to concentrate more on these three subjects and less on others. This will make your base for further studies. Revise the things side by side at home along with school. Prefer self study rather than throwing money in institutes. Do google and use YouTube for clearing doubts.

For this, +2 with non.medical is required. So, go for it after passing the class 10th. Focus more on PCM as this will be your base for B.Tech in astrophysics.
