The basic eligibility is graduation. There are no age restrictions for admission to IGNOUs management programs. You should be a graduate in any discipline and must have 50% marks for graduation if you are from general category. You need to qualify in OPENMAT management aptitude test conducted by IGNOU for admission to management programs I.e attain minimum cut off marks. It is held twice a year in July and in December. For July the last date is over (31st May).

Every year there was a campus interview for final year students and where well-established companies arrive for campus interviews of students and 99 percent of students are also selected in these interviews. Formal path for becoming a scientist needs a Masters followed by a Ph.D. degree. After your Bachelors , try to join a research based Masters in good universities like IIT, IISc, Hyderabad Central University, TIFR, etc. These universities also offer a joint M.Sc/Ph.D programmes so that you can save one year time.
