Hi Preet, this has to be your sole personal choice. No one can tell you what to study since your future and career prospects will depend on it. So figure out what you want, have an ambition, know your career aspirations and decide. After a B.Com degree you can opt for PG Diploma programs in Accounts and Finance which could give you good results. But finally getting a job will depend on your academic performance and skills.

Actually, if you are in the computer or IT branch then there are almost 80-90% placements which is a good thing. Above that, EXTC has around 60% placements. Later in mechanical and instrumentation, there is a very low rate of placements like 10-20%. So, I suggest you to choose your branch wisely in Mumbai.

Total Fees to be paid to ICAI for the whole course comes to around Rs 50,000.00.
If you join coaching classes, fees would be near about 1 Lac to 2 Lacs from CPT to Final.
During articleship training, you will get from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 10000 depending on city of training and level of the firm.
So if you take all the four years and calculate the cost it would be not much and may be you can earn more than your spending.

Both civil and architecture are different things but the common thing in civil and architecture is the part of creativity which you need in both the fields. In architecture, you need more creativity then civil. But for today concern or if you were thinking about government jobs, I think civil branch is a better option. Civil branch can provide you with a platform to go with PSU sectors or with government jobs. So, it also depends on your calibre that whether you want to choose civil engineering or architecture, it's your choice.
