The foundation programme consists of 4 papers. They are:

Executive programme consists of 7 papers (divided into 2 modules). Module-1 consists of 4 papers and Module-2 consists of 3 papers. They are:

For CWA, you can start the studies right after 10+ 2, taking the Foundation Course. The course trains you in accounting, cost and management, audit and tax functions among others. As a qualified CWA professional, you are responsible for maintaining and scrutinizing accounts, preparing cash budgets, maintaining cash flow statements among others. But it is cost cutting that you would specialise in. If you want to pursue the Company Secretaries Course, you have three stages: Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme. Graduate students are exempt from Foundation Programme. Here is a ready reckoner.
1. CS Duration: Foundation programme is of eight months. It is open to students of all backgrounds - Arts, Science or Commerce stream. After passing Executive programme, a student has to undergo practical training for about 15 months. After successful completion of training a candidate is eligible to be called as an Associate Company Secretary
2. CWA Duration : The three stages of course can be completed at one go. But students unable to clear Intermediate at first shot or later, can try for another seven years. After a lapse of seven years, they can re-register and appear for test for yet another seven years. But only a very few pass the exam.

Master of Arts M.A. In Journalism & Mass Communication gives training to the students in both technical skills and critical analysis of the media spectrum. It is a postgraduate course of 2 years duration. The course includes the study of mass media such as newspapers, magazines, cinema films, radio, television etc. In order to convey information to the audience. The course is comprised of the concept of news, the role of journalism in society, history of journalism, skills in identifying news and also covers political and social issues of particular society. For admission in the course, students must have completed Bachelors degree in any stream from any recognised university with minimum 50% marks. Admission in some of the colleges is done on the basis of marks secured in an entrance examination, conducted by the college, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. M.A. In Journalism & Mass Communication is a study of different means of communication by which individuals can convey the information to the large segment of the population through mass media. The course generally provides teaching and training regarding reporting, writing, editing, photographing etc. Students can opt. For specializations in various fields of journalism such as Sports Journalism, Science Journalism, Environment Journalism, Fashion Journalism, Film Making, Advertising, Corporate communications etc. Successful Graduates may work in the job areas such as Advertising Agencies, Books, and Novels, All India Radio, Photography Companies, Broadcasting Corporations, Press Information Bureau, Radio Telecasting Companies, TV Channels, Websites etc. Following is the minimum eligibility criteria required for the candidates interested in pursuing course the course :
- Applicants must possess Graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks in it. - Some of the reputed institutes and universities also conduct an entrance examination to get admission in M.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication)
- Students proficiency in English communication is also a plus point for getting admission in the course.
