BUMAT is an entrance exam for BBA for the colleges affiliated to BVDU PUNE. Colleges affiliated to BUMAT are situated in Pune, Delhi, Sangli, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Karad and Solapur. Cracking BUMAT is not difficult but Delhi and Pune branches are some of top institutes for management field. So getting a seat in IMED, Pune and IMR, Delhi is very difficult as the number of candidates taking admission in these colleges are more. So the cutoff for these colleges is around 900-1100 rank for BBA and BCA.

Good choice, but you are on your own for your studies placement are good. The best thing is you will have a lot of time to prepare for various competitive exams. There are at least 3 excellent faculty members in every department. If work under their guidance, you will gain a lot and a good job.

130 is a very low cut-off to get admission into PSG for automation and robotics. I think there is no alternate option to improve the engineering cut-off as the improvement process has been cancelled. I would suggest you try through management quota for admission.

If you really want a good college, then taking break before college won't be considered as disadvantage. But, it's been like that if you complete your Bachelor's degree, as soon as possible. Then, you will have much time to get indulge in some other master degrees.

Seats in the lateral entry programme for every college is very low as compared yo 1st year entry. So, getting seat in these colleges for non Maharashtra candidate is a little bit difficult.
