Hi Resham,
As per the rules and the standards of Indian education, the minimum duration to pursue a undergraduate degree is 3 years and anything less than that is not considered as a degree.
It is not possible to pursue a graduate degree with a course less than 3 years in either cases whether done through the regular or correspondence mode, so in case you are keen to pursue graduation you require to invest a minimum three years so to avail a valid degree.

Hi Umamahesh,
Frankly speaking, if you want to change your field it is always advisable to go for a regular program rather than a correspondence. However, as you have already earned a degree in HR and made up your mind to switch to HR, there is no other way but to find a job in HR. The only suggestion from my side is that you should not adamant about the salary package or the designation at this point of time as you may have to start at a little lower rank and salary package.
Moreover, once you get a job after spending few years in that go for some HR certifications or six Sigma programs.
Hope this will be of help. Feel free to put up mor
