There can not be any management quota for lateral entry, it is purely merit based. Usually, any engineering college can accept lateral entry up to 10% of normal intake seats of the each branch. Secondly, for this year admission process is over and now you will have to wait for Jun-Aug 2013 when the admission process commences.

The best line of action as of now would be to do Post graduation in a subject of your choice. Then perhaps you can do M.Phil or PHd or MBA. Perhaps you may have to pass some examination for entry into post graduation if you do not have Honours in your graduation.
