Hi Juhi, I completely understand your concern and to focus on the pros and cons of the working officials in the Air Force/Navy there is immense physical and mental strain but along with it you also get many facilities. Such job offers a respect worthy and secured future. And it even offers various facilities after retirement.
But, not to forget, for girls, the timings can be a main constraint and as for the training they need to stay away from the family for approximately a year.
The work ethics can be compromised in any sector. Such cases can happen anywhere whether in Indian Air Force/Navy or in any other work environment. Hi Imtiyaz, Protocol testing is a generic term used by companies working in communication industry for testing of different protocols in domains of Routing, Switching, Wireless, Security, Telecom etc.
Product companies like Cisco,Nortel, etc have networking devices like routers, switches, modems, wireless access-points, firewalls, etc which are used for different protocols to communicate to exchange routing information.
Communication protocols or Datacom protocol are different terms used for the protocol working in networking domain ,which are mentioned in TCP/IP stack.
Usually protocol testing is done by connecting a DUT (device under test) to other devices like routers/switches and conifiguring the protocol in it, then checking the packet structure of the packets send by the devices, checking , protocol algorithm ,their performance,scalability etc.
Protocol testing has a lot of openings in different networking core companies. There is immense scope in the industry if you have the zeal to work towards it.
