Hi,
The Training and Placement Unit of the Institute is responsible for providing world class job opportunities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations.
No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers.
Salary is a function of various factors:
I. The institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech e.g. a graduate from a top institute will comm

It depends on two very basic things. First, what are you good at and second, what would you enjoy more. Postgraduate degree is too specialized and once you decide your major, in all probability you will have to stick with that. As far as jobs are concerned, you will have equal opportunities in all three sectors (management is slightly better in this regard). Hence is it important that you decide your major based on your preference. Otherwise it will be very difficult for you to sustain it in the long run.

Most people who go abroad for MBA, usually go to USA because of good job market. There are a lot of really good business schools in USA. Other than USA, people go to France, Germany, Australia, England and Singapore as well. In France and Germany, you will need to learn local language as well and Europe is not very good for post MBA jobs right now compared to USA and Singapore.
Hope this answers your question.

Hello Saurabh,
Initially the pay will not be that appealing and most of the students are hired as interns and are given stipend instead of salary. But with experience and exposure the salary bar would surely get a hike and a MBA after BBA/BBM would definitely fetch the student more lucrative jobs.
Best of luck.

BITS offers general MBA and so there are no such seat limits for Finance or Marketing. Students choose electives in their 3rd semester and that determines their specialization. There are some major banks and Financial institutions like Credit Suisse and Barclays that recruit from BITS and are PS stations for MBA students.

Hi
The type of business course you shall pursue depends on your interests and your long term goals. If you want to grow in the field you are currently working in then a course in that field is more appropriate. Similarly, if you are a fresher (without any work experience) then it depends on which field interests you.
All the best.
