Getting admission in good colleges with 40% is a very difficult task, as the minimum percentage institutes or colleges require is 50% in HSC. You can still try for private institutes in your city/state.

Yes, placements are offered to PGDBM students and they are at par with MMS students. There is no differentiation. Our average placement for the batch of 2014-16 is Rs 10.6 lakhs.

If you want to go for B.Tech engineering then kindly choose according to your choice because there is no guarantee of good job after B.Tech unless you are from a good university or with high grades.

BCA is a basic graduation degree with which you can get entry level jobs in small and medium IT firms. You will have to do MCA for a meaning IT career. However, B.Tech graduation can have a good career. Therefore, it is recommended that you prefer B.Tech over BCA.
