My experience in this college is really very good as in a lot of practical exposure to the corporate world. I can see the change in myself in 6 month as i have joined in august 2016. Not only studies but we also had industrial visit to TATA Motors, NDA. Every Saturday we have guest lectures from the corporate. This in turn helps us to know about how the corporate works and what do they demand from us as an employee. We have communication classes which did help grooming our self. The other thing is that the classes that we have are all case study based classes. We are provided with references of books to be used which are available in the library. The hostel facility is extremely good with good and healthy food in the canteen. Each and every step we take in the institute teaches us something new. A lot of practical exposure provided by the institute.

An overall evaluation is done for selecting candidates at IMI Kolkata. However, with 75plus percentile in CAT, you will have fair chances of converting.
IMI Kolkata has had an excellent track record of hundred percent throughout the years. Eminent faculties from all over the world come to teach the students at IMI Kolkata. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university.

Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks is the eligibility for admission in MBA course. There are more than 4500 institutes in India which offer MBA or PGDM degree. Out of these, top 200 colleges give call for admission to only those who have appeared and cleared any of management aptitude test which are known as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/CET.
The IIMs are considered the best and top-most management institutes which accept only CAT score. The AICTE and UGC approved institutes accept CMAT score. The fees can be as low as Rs.40,000 per year for low level institutes to Rs.6.5 lakhs per year for institutes like IIPM. Generally, top colleges provide campus placement to their students which make them attractive but low level colleges do not provide campus placement.
