Such candidates will be allowed to join the program provisionally and confirmation will be subject to the completion of the bachelor's degree before the Level 1 Exam of the Certified Credit Research Analyst (CCRATM) program.

If you mean full time MBA or PGDM program then please remember in order to pursue this program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
The selection process in B-schools generally consists of :
Past Academic record.
Scores in entrance tests.
Group Discussion.
Personal Interview.
Work experience.
Please note that each B-schools shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other.
The process may include

It doesn't matter much what grades you get in your graduation. Matter is what how much passion & innovation you have.
for B.tech tech program, if you are talking about which branch to study, then off course you have to decide yourself in which area you can do better. Every specialization is good depends how much effort you put in.
Still you ask me.its better to go with core branches, like civil, mechanical, electrical or computers. But first make sure yourself in which stream your interest in.

Genetics is an extremely advanced study in the field of science. It is basically the science of heredity and variation in living organisms. In Genetics one gets to study a lot of things which are very interesting like Microscopy, Mendelian Genetics and Biometry, Cytogenetics, Molecular Genetics, Genetic Engineering and Cloning, Human Genetics, Applied Genetics and Advanced Genetics. There is not just one part of Genetics, one can do B.Sc. in genetics regarding humans, plants reptiles and also there are many other fields.
In order to study Bachelors in Genetics one has to pass class 12 with subject combination of Chemistry, Physics and Biology. The duration of the course is 3 years. Its little bit difficult to say anythnig about VIT because last year around 4,720 students are offered admissions at VIT University ,Vellore and Chennai.
Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20,000 rank holders are called for counselling.
All major branches like CS, EC, EE are likely to close at 9,000 in main campus and 15,000 in chennai campus
