As Shiksha is an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased opinion, it would be unfair on my part to give my opinion on any particular Institute. However, ITER is a decent Institute which is UGC Approved under Deemed University category.

The opinion on this may vary from person to person according to me, History has a limited scope in terms of job, you can either get into teaching, or civil services or limited to archaeology department or various govt museums, whereas with political science you can get into media journalism, social work, politics, teaching, civil services etc.
