A) Differences between MBA & PGDM: i) Only Universities can offer MBA while Institutes which are not affiliated to university but approved by AICTE can offer PGDM degree. ii) MBA focuses more on the theoretical aspects of management and is more exam-oriented while PGDM has a focus on building soft-skills & is industry-oriented. iii) Since PGDM does not have to follow university standards, it is free to change its curriculum whereas MBA will essentially follow the university guidelines.
B) Yes, MBA degree is Aicte approved.
C) Differences between ABS & AIMIT: Both ABS & AIMIT comes under one umbrella i.e. under Adarsh Group of Institutions. ABS and AIMIT are two different campuses that provides almost the same PG degree programs except MBA degree. AIMIT provides MBA dual specialization under Bangalore University whereas ABS provides MBA dual specialization under Mysore University.
