Admission to a regular MBA requires you to clear eligibility tests such as CMAT, CAT, MAT, ATMA-AIMS and so on followed by GD and PI. There are deemed universities as well that conduct their own entrance exams.

In my view the MBA specialization should be connected either with your graduation subjects or to the area where you have some inbuilt skills and a force within yourself to work in it. Generally speaking Finance is more opted but then if you have never dealt with finance, accounting, commerce in your earlier educational pursuits then opting for it might not stand the test of the time.

It is a good option only if you are unable to do executive MBA or part time MBA which has more recognition. Distance MBA is good for those who are working and can not go for part time or regular MBA. Bangalore has large number of centers for distance MBA like Symbiosis Center For Distance Learning, Distance Education, India, Sikkim Manipal university, Indra Gandhi national open university etc

Ommkar, LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few.
