I guess you are not even eligible to write CAT if you have secured less than 50 percentage in your graduation, pertaining to the fact that you belong to general category. However, if you belong to any other category the qualifying percentage is 40; "as of what i remember". For more details please log onto : iimcat.ac.in .
IIM Shillong follows all the guidelines prescribed by the CAT examination body.
Thanks,
All the best.

Hi Pooja,
For Bachelor's degree, you need to take SAT, ACT or TOEFL, IELTS along with letter of recommendations from your school counsellor or principal and subject teachers. Some universities can ask for statement of purpose and if you have a portfolio, it helps.

I believe, basic mathematics is a must for MBA exams and later stage in life as a manager also. I would suggest you to practice and get acquainted with basic mathematics, and then think about doing MBA in IT in any college with decent placements. Without a decent score in exam will refrain you from a good college.

You are not eligible to get admission in MBA in majority of B-schools as you do not meet the eligibility criteria of minimum 50% marks in graduation degree. You can evaluate doing MBA from a private university, where admission process is not stringent.
