Yes, is correct that correspondence course does not have a value that equals a regular course.
A regular course is a proof that you have been ACTIVELY engaged in interaction with your teachers as well as fellow students, are competing in the examinations, and know the latest developments in your field and about the career avenues.
If you do a correspondence course in India and are selected for a regular MBA abroad, how will you adjust to the new surroundings , and how will you be able to cope up with the requirements of the daily classroom seminars and giving out presentations, and interaction with the industry.
You say that you are depr

The packages in this filed can never be determine! and frankly speaking don't base your decision on the basis of packages.
Taking the point of you having an experience in Digital, You will be having an internship in the middle of the course, if you can, Crack a big fish and get in, if you perform good they hire you once you're done with the course. One of my classmate has currently been already offered by IBS and he also had an experience in Digital for the same amount of time

Hi Hilal,
First of all congratulations for getting a call from IIM.
To prepare for further rounds, make sure you are following the current affairs related to all major national and international events. This will help you not only in PI, but also GDs and essay writings, as the case may be.
1) IIMs give a lot of emphasis on acads, so brush up the concepts learned in graduation, even if you have a work experience of upto 3 years. In case you have work ex, be prepared with crisp, but comprehensive answers about your organisation, your profile, role, and responsibilities handled.

Well Pankaj, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company

Hii Eswar, to be honest, the chances are very slim. As the PGDM in Banking & Financial Services (BKFS) is a new program there will be stiff competition. Tapmi usually follows a CUT-OFF - 80+(Profile Based Calling) scheme for all its programs, but there are exceptions. If you have a strong academic profile or solid work ex or an impressive profile, Tapmi does consider. Tapmi is known to select people with caliber. Hope everything goes well for you. Keep your spirits high buddy. All the very best !
