Hi Madhav,
I estimate around 500 students will be offered admission this year out of 180 seats. It is basically like whoever pays the fees first will get the seats. IFMR has been doing this for a long time so this is not the first time they are following FCFS.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other query. Happy to help you. If you find this answer helpful, please select it as best answer or give it a thumbs up. Thank you and Good Luck!

Hi suraj,
MMS focuses more on theoretical aspects of management and is more exam-oriented. Example you have to take MBA in marketing, finance, HR, operations or systems. While PGDM has a focus on building soft skills and is industry-oriented like they can offer program in Retail, eMBA, Capital Markets.
Since an autonomous institute does not have to follow university standards, it is free to change its curriculum according to industry standards and change in business environment. Some of the MMS curriculum is 10 years old and students are not taught latest curriculum, and Also a PGDM gives students an industry exposure. Whereas it will ta

I suggest you keep a check on siescoms website for ILS form ( institute level sets - MMS course ). For pgdm course, if you have a good GDPI then expect to concert the call. For MMS through ILS list the cut off may drop to 90%ile as it did last year. In short apply for both the courses, convert whatever you are able to first. There is no difference when it comes to placements for PGDM & MMS as they all sit together for the same. .The statistical details of the placement of the said batch till date are as under: a. Highest salary: Rs 17.0 lacs p.a. b. Average salary: Rs 6.5 lacs p.a. c. Lowest salary: Rs 4.00 lacs p.a. d. No. of companie
