if u have more then 80% IN 12 PCM THEN U CAN TAKE ADMISSION IN AMITY UNIVERSITY, SHARDA UNIVERSITY,PETROLIUM UNIVERSITY DEHRADOON ARE THERE MANY MORE UNIVERSITY ALSO TAKE STUDENTS ON THE BASIS OF 12 PCM %
And the best branch in near future is civil engineering because of the amount of infrastructure development being done in our country,
there is huge demand of an civil engineers with good pay ,some times even better than software jobs,so surely you can opt for civil engineering.

Good to hear that you are planning to pursue mca(Masters in computer application).its a 3 year course and eligibility is graduation.its a postgraduation degree in computers.
The lateral entry in mca is:-
* If you done Graduation with computers /BCA/B.Sc CS/B.Sc IT/B.Tech IT/B.Tech CS/PGDCA/PGDIT/DOEACC 'A' level then you will get lateral entry in 3rd semester of mca and then duration becomes 2year
* If you done M.Sc - IT/M.Sc CS then you will get lateral entru in 5th semester of mca and then duration becomes 1 year.
