This type of designer is usually employed by a clothing manufacturing or apparel company and likely works with a team headed by a creative designer. Designers working in this kind of environment usually create design prototypes and then bring them to the creative designer for approval. They can also be involved in the marketing process when presenting to buyers or distributors.
