The Common Entrance Test of Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University/GGSIPU is conducted for various courses ranging from Arts to Science to Management to Engineering to medicine. Therefore, there is no common syllabus for GGSIPU CET. For different programmes, separate tests are conducted in the respective subjects or allied subjects. The information related to the precise syllabus for each entrance test can be obtained from the official website of GGSIPU- http://ggsipu.nic.in. Subjects to be studied for BCA entrance test are: English Language & Comprehension, Mathematics, Computer Awareness, General Knowledge-IT and Science Related. To prepare for the exam, you can join any coaching institute near your place of residence and practice unsolved previous years question papers.

There are two ways of applying for Ph.D in Germany : (A) Independent Research under Supervision: Germany does not traditionally have a system of Graduate Schools , Graduate Centres or Graduate Colleges that support and guide students to their doctorate in a structured programme; nor is there a binding curriculum that needs to be completed during the doctoral phase. The production of a doctoral thesis or dissertation is the core element of the doctorate. Students agree their topic with a supervising professor and then produce a thesis or dissertation as a piece of independent research work. (B) Structured PhD-Programme: Structured PhD-programmes or IPP's (International Postgraduate Programmes) are a fairly recent development in German higher education. In total, Germany 's universities currently offer around 360 programmes, of which around 130 have an international focus.

Well, as far as I know there is no other such offering from the govt. However, you can go for BDes at IIT. Do take a look at the entire field of design. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. The world has changed a lot and a lot of new and wonderful careers in design have come up. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Technology, Augmented Reality, 3D Projection etc, besides of course Game Design & Animation. Of course at the top of the pile lies Concept Designing (usually reserved for writers and visionaries) - these people are required by Event Companies, Animation Studios, VFX Studios, & of course Game Studios. At this stage, you may want to understand the creative world and the careers it offers. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills & knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery design, Acting, & Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching & imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills & imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers.
