There is no course in India such as investigative journalism. You can pursue a degree course in journalism or mass communication, which is generally a 3-year course. After completing the course successfully, you can apply for an internship in a news organisation and work with the crime and politics beat to understand the industry and have an experience of what it is all about. After that, you can apply for jobs in the same beat in news organisations.
