good idea. actually there are different types of game developing environments viz., xbox , mobile, online, pc etc., for any type of game developer strong logic & reasoning, math skills are very important. most of the qualified engineers normally comes with such such skills, i believe you are one among. Firstly, soon after completing your B.tech approach any game development company join as trainee developer and then aquire skills. or Secondly, join any good training institute for game development and aquire skills then get onto a job. apart from the above always it is suggested to improve C++/java/openGL/VisualC++ any other object oriented programming skills. it works for you. good day.
