I'm afraid to say but your visa application will get rejected if you apply with a 5.5 band score. Not only visa, but if you apply to the University of British Columbia with that score, they will either ask you to retake the test or they will reject your application. In order to successfully make it through the university as well as have no problems at the time of visa, you should target a minimum of 6.5 band score and try to score a 7.5
