If you are interested in studying at post graduation level in Canada, i would recommend studying a regular masters degree rather than a diploma as you would gain much more value from the degree than the diploma. You would also be spending so much on the diploma, it is better to spend a little more on a degree.
The minimum IELTS score requirement by most Canadian Universities is 6.5 band score with a minimum score of 6 in each section. You would also be required to take the GRE. Target a score above 1400 in the GRE if you want admission in the best.
Some of the best universities in Canada are University of Toronto, York University, McG

Most of the Open Universities would require the students to have a teaching experience to get admission in their B.Ed Program, even the other good Distance education Institutes would require 2-3 years of work experience for B.Ed program. So I would suggest you to go for a either for full time B.Ed or other full time JBT, NTT programs through private institute which is mostly for one year and after gaining few years of teaching experience go for B.Ed.
Another option for you could be to complete your Masters and go for NET Examination and become a lecturer in Universities.
