Should I go for LPU for CSE or go for any other college as I have heard a lot of rumors about it? But LPU has a good placement record.

'When it comes to Engineering programme in general and CSE in particular, LPU is best option. '
Every rising institution would have many competitors who would try to spoil the name and fame of the organisation, so I don't believe in the rumours. You, yourself have mentioned regarding good placements, means then false rumours by competitors are bound to come. I personally feel B.Tech from LPU is the best engineering degree as compared to the Engineering degrees from any other institute. LPU provides the latest curriculum which is accepted at industry level, industrial exposures and the best placement depending upon the caliber of the stu

Lovely professional University is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class, etc.

It is good but you have to work hard.
Placements: The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less. It depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there, you will definitely get a good job. Recently, in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 LPA and it's a good package. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at a package of 2.5-3.5 LPA. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more.
